OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our Philosophy: Testimonials
I believe
that each child needs a stimulating atmosphere where they can grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. I believe that a teacher can establish such an environment by acting as a guide to the children, allowing the child's natural curiosity to direct his/her learning, and by promoting respect for all things and all people.
I believe
that a teacher should be constantly observing children and providing activities that help strengthen their learning skills as well as curriculum interests. Developing a curriculum around student interests motivates them to be more passionate about learning.
I believe
that children, teachers and parents are considered the central triad on the educational process. It is essential that the teacher and parent builds a strong communication relationship in regards of their children's education and health. A teacher should allow parents to know and be involved in what is going on in and outside of the classroom.
I believe
that children learn through play.
I believe
that a teacher needs to be confident, understanding, patient, creative, and passionate about their job.
I believe
that the teacher must get to know every child individually to help them feel confident in their class setting. A child must feel accepted, loved, valued, and respected to be motivated to learn.
I believe
that learning is a lifelong process.
